When this Bose Speakers arrived at my home, im surprised this is too easy to setup and simple to operate, with not a lot of wires going all over your room. One interesting thing is the remote, the remote is a sleek four-button universal remote controls! how cool is that, now I can programmed all my electronic devices with only one remote.

A Living-Room Must-Have

I can tell that these Bose Speakers are amazing for movies, with movies the audio sounds crisp and with enough bass. My living room vibrates and the sound is fantastic!, seriously this thing can shake your house, as expected with that price tag. Too bad there is no volume indicator and an iPod connector on it, otherwise it would be perfect.

Perfect Big Sound Solution

The best thing about this speakers is the Acoustimass Bass Module feature, this module means even the size of the speakers are small, but it can deliver a fuller range of theatre sound and effects.

Im still amazed how this little speaker monster can reproduces bass and deep-bass frequencies for true home-theater dimension. The result is a thrilling and dramatic surround sound approaching that of many five speaker systems. But these sounds came from only three speakers, amazing !

Proper Setup Is The Key

For you who wants to buy this Bose CineMate Digital Home Theater Speaker System, i have some important tips to optimize this speakers :

• The main key to get the best sound quality is to follow the instructions first.
• Set your TV’s volume to about 80% and adjust the sound with the Bose remote control,
• When you wants to watch a movie – any kind of movie – make sure to turn the sound up to Movie theater levels. With this option the audio sounds crisp and with enough bass.
• If you have extra budget I would recommend buying the stands for the speakers, UFS-20 Bose stands price currently around $100.

I tried to watch Transformers yesterday with this speakers, no doubt that Bose Cinemate System is a good TV extention speaker system, the crispness and clarity of the system sounds is phenomenal, Bose don’t have the “true” 5.1 surround system but they sure do an excellent job at simulating it

My personal Pros and Cons for this Bose Cinemate Review

Pros :

1. Excellent (almost perfect) sound for the money
2. No bulky equipment to set up, pretty much plug & play!
3. Doesn’t take up a lot of space
4. One year warranty with excellent customer service, one of my friend who just bought the new Bose Home Theater System realized that his speaker wires were out of date for his flat screen TV. So he called Bose and they are sending him the adapter and wire free of charge, they also sent and email to confirm it.
5. You gotta love the ergonomic universal remote !

Cons :

1. Great for movie, not so much for music
2. There is no HDMI ports, RCA connection only
3. No volume indicator.This Bose Cinemate Digital Home Theater does not cooperate with the volume bar on your TVs, so you cant tell how loud is it.
4. The equalizer settings is not very customizable
5. No stands included, the Bose Cinemate speaker stands are like $80-$100.
